Following on from the successful installation of new audio-visual equipment in both the Small Conference Hall and Main Conference Hall at The Hayes, we have been pleased to install new equipment in the Derbyshire Hall.
We have carefully listened to feedback from our users, and are now pleased to provide a 20 channel mixer with four high-quality radio microphones, three vocal microphones, CD-RW Recorder and two ceiling mounted projectors (4000 lumens) with screens on either side of the stage and a foldback screen for those on the stage. The video system provides PC inputs at both the sound-desk and at the stage, along with the ability for DVD playback and recording, plus sockets for other composite video/camera inputs.
This means that the equipment is similar in style to both the Small Conference Hall and the Main Conference Hall, but with separate bass speakers and powerful amplifiers, it has the ‘added quality’ that groups have come to expect with the ever-popular Derbyshire Suite.
The systems have been designed so that they are simple enough to use for basic amplification of speech, whilst also providing the ability for advanced users to mix a full worship band and integrate audio-visual content into sessions. Groups have been very pleased with the new equipment and combined with no hire charges being made for this equipment or the Wireless Internet, these have been very popular and welcomed developments.
