The Yew Tree Hall has now re-opened at High Leigh and benefits from approximately 50% more floor space.
This increase in floor space was the direct result of several months work by the Christian Conference Trust's own in-house mobile maintenance team and arose due to feedback from conference organisers who had requested more space for activities, displays and exhibitions.
In addition to the increased space, the Hall has been completely refurbished and redecorated with new suspended ceiling, new 'intelligent' lighting, additional electrical supplies and state of the art audio-visual equipment available for conference use.
We have listened carefully to the requirements of our conferences when planning what audio-visual equipment to install. We have both a basic system and an advanced system, with the ability to simply switch between the two according to preference.
Along with the sound equipment, we have also installed a video switcher with the ability to switch between laptops, dvds and videos instantly and choose which inputs are displayed on the two projection screens at the front.
Scripture Union have been the first conference to use the facility. The organiser commented: "The new hall is great! The daylight, space and improved audio-visual technology have helped create an uplifting atmosphere for our conference".
