Food and Drink

The Hayes offers full catering: breakfast, mid morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea with cakes and evening meal. We receive many appreciative comments about the food we provide.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served at 8.30am. Orange juice and cereal or fresh grapefruit is followed by a traditional cooked English breakfast with toast. Tea and coffee is also served.

Mid-Morning Coffee

At 10.45am, coffee, tea and fruit juice are served, along with biscuits. Refreshment breaks are served in areas where your delegates can relax between sessions - outside in our beautiful gardens or in one of our many lounge areas.

Lunch

Lunch is served at 12.45pm and is either a 'family service' style meal or a self service buffet. To complete the meal there is a choice of desserts, followed by tea or coffee.

Afternoon Tea

This is similar in style to morning coffee, but with a slice of cake. This is served at 3.45pm. As in the morning, The Hayes gift shop is open offering a selection of confectionery, drinks, gifts and toiletries.

Evening Meal

A three-course dinner served at 6.45pm - starter (often a choice), hot main course with vegetables in season, dessert, tea or coffee.

Enhanced Meals and Sample Menus

We encourage you to liaise with our Head Chef who is keen to tailor or enhance the menu to suit your conference requirements.

Special Diets

We are happy to provide specific meals for delegates with special diets such as vegetarian, gluten free or low fat.

Licensed Bar

A staffed Bar is available, offering a large range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments at reasonable prices, including many draught beers. We can arrange wine to be available on your tables for meals or a wine reception for special occasions.
