Enjoy the tranquillity of East Anglia’s heritage

Located in the pretty village of Ditchingham, right on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk, Belsey Bridge is surrounded by beautiful countryside and landscaped gardens. Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a football field, the centre has everything delegates need for a relaxing, productive and enjoyable stay.

However, if visitors attending an event want to make even more of their stay in this stunning part of the world, they’ll find a number of attractions right on their doorstep. From vibrant market towns to picturesque villages and unspoiled countryside to stately homes, delegates will find plenty to keep them busy during their stay at Belsey Bridge.

Visitors who want to explore the local culture and history should head to the nearby city of Norwich. Just 30 minutes from Belsey Bridge, this historic metropolis is home to a great selection of shops, restaurants, galleries and museums as well as a vibrant city centre and buzzing atmosphere.

If you don’t have a whole day to spare, delegates can visit the characterful town of Bungay, just two miles from Belsey Bridge. Boasting a 12th century castle and a pretty town centre, Bungay makes a great destination for an afternoon out.

Delegates who want to get out and enjoy some fresh air will be spoiled for choice. Not only is the venue surrounded by some of England’s most beautiful countryside, it’s also located within the Broads National Park, the largest protected wetland area in Britain.

The Broads boast a huge number of walking routes, many of which are accessible to visitors with restricted mobility. The protected area is also packed with wildlife, with thousands of native and migratory birds passing through every year.

Guests who’d like to explore the region’s waterways further can hire river boats from the Waveney River Centre and from several other centres in and around the Broads. While visitors who want to get closer to nature should head to Africa Alive! in nearby Kessingland.

With the East Anglian coast just a short drive from Belsey Bridge, it’s easy to get out and enjoy some sea air during their stay. The pretty seaside towns of Southwold and Walberswick are just half an hour from the venue, with both offering plenty of opportunities for crabbing, walking and other coastal activities.

The area around Belsey Bridge offers a huge variety of attractions and activities for visitors of all ages.
