Keep calm and put the kettle on!

August 2015

Keep calm and put the kettle on!

However fascinating, action packed and eye-opening your conference is, take it from us, one of the biggest things your delegates will remember after the event is the quality of the tea and coffee. You’d be surprised how much of a difference a quality cuppa makes!

More important than a lot of organisers realise, the quality of the refreshments can have a big impact on the atmosphere of the event, with tasty tea and coffee helping the day to go with a bang and poor quality brews putting a real dampener on proceedings.

There’s nothing worse than tepid tea and crummy coffee

Though it appears to be as simple as adding hot water, it’s surprising how often the tea and coffee that conference venues provide is well below par. Luke warm, bitter, weak or just plain strange, bad tea and coffee can be a bad start for any event.

As well as being unpleasant to sip, poor quality refreshments set an inauspicious tone for the day. Skimping on something as simple as tea and coffee will make delegates feel undervalued and give the impression that the organisers don’t care about the quality of the event or the people that have given up their time to be there.

Make delegates feel valued by offering a choice of drinks

Something that’s even better than offering good quality refreshments is offering a selection of good quality refreshments. Here at CCT, we can provide you with a fantastic range of teas and a choice of freshly prepared Fairtrade coffees. Through a partnership with Kingdom Coffee, not only are we sourcing from a Fairtrade and ethical supplier, but we are also directly supporting the work of the Christian charity, Toybox.

A fantastic way to make your delegates feel welcome and valued from the outset of your event, a wide selection of tasty drinks will help your conference to go off smoothly.

Free refreshments provided

At CCT conference centres delegates can help themselves to complimentary hot drinks throughout their stay to help them relax in our lounge spaces between sessions.

Keep your guests happy

A good selection of free teas and coffee will help to kick start a conference and ensure everyone remains engaged and happy throughout.

From fruit tea fans to those who think you can’t beat the best of British with an English breakfast brew - call us to find more about our fantastic range of catering and hospitality options and speak to one of the friendly members of the CCT team today.
