What we collect

Through this website we will collect the following information about you:

Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site, for example, a quote request.

If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

Details of your visits to our site (including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own purposes or otherwise) and the resources that you access.

How we store this data

The information you give to us when you make a request will be stored within our booking system and customer relationship management system for the purposes of responding to your requests and managing any bookings and requests you make. This data is collected on our secure marketing platform, Hubspot. You can read about Hubspot’s privacy policies here. Hubspot is fully GDPR compliant and assists us in ensuring your data is safe and up to date. Data is also stored on our secure booking system and electronic contract signing system (PandaDoc). Both of which are fully GDPR compliant.

Data will be stored based on the following retention policy:

  • All quote requests or leads will be purged or anonymised 3 years after creation if no booking is made.
  • All contact details on bookings will be purged or anonymised 5 years after the event, if no future bookings.

If you choose to sign up for our mailing list, we will keep your name and email address on record. You may ask to unsubscribe at any time by clicking a link within any email we send you, after which we will send you no further email marketing.

The above retention policies do not alter your rights to control your personal data. Please see “Controlling your personal information” for more information on how to do this.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Facebook - We uses Facebook retargeting with Facebook Pixel on our website. This allows user behaviour to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This enables us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. We also use pixels to target a user with advertisements from Christian Conference Trust which can be placed in the users Facebook or Instagram feed. This is known as retargeting. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, i.e. we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, which is why we are informing you, based on our knowledge of the situation. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its own promotional purposes, in accordance with Facebook's Data Usage Policy https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. You can allow Facebook and its partners to place ads on and off Facebook. A cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes.

The legal basis for the use of this service is Art. 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 letter f GDPR. LinkedIn - We use LinkedIn cookies on our site. This enables us to measure, optimize and build audiences for advertising campaigns served on LinkedIn. In particular, it enables us to see how our users move between devices when accessing the cct.org.uk web site and LinkedIn, to ensure that our LinkedIn advertising is seen by our users most likely to be interested in such advertising by analysing which content a user has viewed and interacted with on our web site. The purpose of us using this software is to understand our website traffic in the most privacy-friendly way possible so that we can continually improve our website and business. The lawful basis as per the GDPR is "Article 6(1)(f); where our legitimate interests are to improve our website and business continually."
