CCT Event Manager Tips – Check-in App

While CCT Event Manager’s main function is to help you in the organisation of your event, one added feature that will help you with running your event is our Check-in App. Useful for all sized groups, our Check-in App helps organisers quickly check delegates off a registration list and distribute keys through a simple touch screen friendly interface.

The Check-in App is designed to be used on a tablet computer, although it can also be used on any laptop or mobile device through a web browser. To get started, log into CCT Event Manager, and select task 7, “Check in delegates to the centre” from the dashboard.

The initial interface will show you a grid of buttons with the letters A-Z. To check in your first delegate, select the button corresponding to the surname of the delegate. Alternatively, to see a list of all delegates, select the small grey button at the top that reads “View full list”.

At this point you will be presented with a list of names. Delegates that are already checked in will have a green tick next to their name. The delegates assigned room number will also be shown. Select the delegate that you wish to check in from the list.

The person you have selected will appear at the top of the screen. If the person is part of a multi-person booking, any other delegates on the same booking will be shown below. To check in a delegate, tick the box next to their name on the right. This is the time to find their room key as you’ve got that information handy at this point. Select the green “Check in” button to complete the process. You will be taken back to the front screen ready for the next delegate.

From the “View full list” screen, you will also find handy filters, for “All”, “In” and “Out”, allowing you to quickly see who still needs to check in, and the counters at the top right of the screen indicates the number of people who have arrived, or are yet to arrive.

Using the CCT Event Manager Check-in App allows the staff at your venue to know who has arrived and is staying overnight, so you don’t need to supply a separate attendee list for fire safety.

If you’d like to make use of the Check-in App and require any further assistance please speak to a member of reception staff who’ll be happy to help. We can also lend you a tablet device to use at your check-in point if you don’t have your own.
