Welcome. As you can see from our bright new website and updated logo, we’ve been making some changes! But this is about so much more than fresh brand colours, and we’re excited to share it with you. You’ll see that we’ve dropped our ‘CCT’ nickname too – we are proud to be the Christian Conference Trust.
A new generation of Christianity is emerging and we’re excited to be part of it. We’re here for the whole church – the traditional, the modern, the messy and the mega-churches. We understand that worship can be loud, joyful and expressive, or quiet and contemplative. Christianity is bright and vibrant and varied, and we are here to celebrate and reflect that. We are a welcoming, inclusive space for everyone to come together.
Our new logo represents that space. If you look at it long enough, it becomes a 3D image of a room. We like to think it’s the room we all need to be ourselves, unashamedly. Room to grow, room to learn, and room to be together.
Across the UK, a growing number of congregations are meeting in non-traditional spaces like community centres, former industrial buildings, old pubs, hotels, bingo halls and schools. It’s not necessarily about the venue – church doesn’t always mean in a church – we thrive in Christianity when we come together, wherever that may be. The Christian Conference Trust venues offer a space to call home for your church away days, family retreats or youth group breaks. This year we’ve all been forced to find even more creative ways to worship together, with church services held on Zoom or by phone. Who knows what next year could bring, what new ideas are being born in this pause we are all experiencing together? Christianity is growing and adapting, and so are we.
So, as we all begin making preparations to meet again, we’re happy to reintroduce ourselves to you. We’re the Christian Conference Trust, and we’re looking forward to welcoming you.
