Making sure everyone's invited

August 2020

We want everyone to be able to join in and enjoy the blessings of residential ministry, particularly those most in need. Church away days or residentials are often the highlight of the year’s programme. Getting your church family together – away from their everyday lives – presents the space for new ideas, stronger connections and deeper learning to flourish.

That's why we have created a bursary fund for churches, Christian groups and organisations.

Our church family really benefits from these church weekends away, so it's wonderful to have this financial help to keep them going.

Christ Church Mayfair

Members of the congregation who live in difficult circumstances are often those who would benefit most from away days. We know that a warm welcome, good food and time for fellowship can make a world of difference to someone’s wellbeing, so we make it our mission to support you in inviting everybody from your church family to come along.

We are particularly thankful for the support from your bursary fund which allowed us to bring 17 people who wouldn’t have been able to afford to come along.

Herne Hill Baptist Church

For children from disadvantaged backgrounds or those living in inner cities, a break in the countryside can boost their confidence, improve wellbeing, and offer them a sense of hope. Kids will get the chance to try out new activities, burn off some energy in the fresh air, relax and make memories with their friends. You can apply for a bursary on behalf of an individual delegate, to make sure everyone’s included on your youth group break at any of our centres.

If you are able, please consider making a donation to our bursary fund, to help us continue welcoming everybody to our centres. Kindly email bursary@cct.org.uk
