We at The Hayes love the rich craft behind a good gin, and of course the drink itself especially when enjoyed with good company. Inspired by our High Leigh centre which did the same this year, we partnered with the multi-award winning Hawkridge Distillers to create the Hayes Gin, a unique spirit inspired by the Hayes estate.
Hawkridge Distillers made this gin with botanicals gathered from our site and honey from our busy bees, who also make the Hayes Honey guests can enjoy. The result is memorable: heady floral notes giving way to a juniper heart and a refreshing citrus late note all smoothed with locally grown Hayes Honey. This gin is designed to remind you of your time spent with us and to be perfectly paired with your favourite premium tonic, a slice of grapefruit or sprig of rosemary and plenty of ice.
Successfully launched in October 2022, guests can now enjoy this as the house gin served at our bar on site, the perfect way to relax with other conference guests in the evening. You can also buy a bottle to take home, along with our special Hayes Honey, at the shop on site (home delivery is not available – this is only available for purchase at The Hayes).

The brilliant Hawkridge team came to The Hayes to give us a gin sampling session and begin the creative process of building a gin using local inspiration. The result is fantastic. We’ve had a great response from guests who’ve been enjoying it at the bar, and we’ve sold quite a few bottles to those who wanted to take some Hayes Gin home. Many thanks to Hawkridge for their hard work in making this happen.”
