Gemma has made the whole process super-easy, is highly relational and super responsive to calls, texts and emails.
With more than 20 years of experience in hospitality and events, Gemma leads the Sales Team. Her focus is always on relationships, understanding each church or ministry, what God has called them to do, and how our venues can best support that.
Gemma works with groups at every stage of the journey: churches planning their very first retreat and unsure where to start; long-established ministries looking for a partner that shares their values; and organisations exploring how Christian Conference Trust might serve them in future years. She brings clarity to complex event plans and helps leaders feel confident in every decision.
She also drives new and proactive relationships, introducing fresh groups to the support and expertise available across The Hayes, High Leigh and Highgate House. Behind the scenes, Gemma is continually looking at how the team can serve churches even better, so that every event feels like a natural extension of your ministry.

Laura brings a wealth of experience from both events management and event-venue sourcing, which means she understands life on both sides of the booking form. As Sales Team Leader, she makes sure every enquiry is handled with care, clarity and a genuinely personal touch.
Specialising in larger events, Laura knows how important detailed planning and good communication are when you’re responsible for bringing many people together. From the very first enquiry, she focuses on getting the details right: room layouts, meeting spaces, timings, accessibility, and all the small things that make a big difference on the day.
For organisers, Laura is a calm and reassuring presence. Her combination of professional expertise and warm, down-to-earth support helps groups feel looked after long before they arrive on site.

Mandy is always really helpful, efficient and friendly when we have questions and makes the process very straightforward.
Mandy has been part of the Christian Conference Trust Sales Team for more than six years and is well known to many of our regular guests. Before joining the team, she worked in adventure centre operations and centre management, giving her a strong understanding of how venues run in real life.
Today, Mandy looks after many of our long-standing clients, often working with the same churches and ministries year after year. She remembers the history behind their events, understands their patterns and preferences, and knows the little touches that help people feel at home.
For organisers, that means a warm, familiar voice at the end of the phone and a highly personalised service. Mandy’s operational background also means she can quickly spot what will work best for your group and help you shape a programme that flows smoothly from start to finish.

Remi has been extremely patient and understanding throughout the booking process, guiding me and making her self available every step of the way.
Remi joined the Sales Team after progressing through several operational roles, including senior front-office positions at The Hayes. That hands-on experience - welcoming guests, solving problems in real time, and keeping conferences running smoothly - now shapes the way she supports groups in the planning stage.
When you speak with Remi, you’re speaking with someone who knows exactly what will be happening on the ground once your event arrives. She understands the flow of a conference, how different spaces work, and what information our on-site teams need to serve you well.
Remi works closely with churches and Christian organisations hosting mid to large-scale events across all three venues. Her calm, practical approach helps organisers feel fully understood and supported, especially if they’re running a new event or growing in size year on year.

Jamie was very responsive to all the queries l had about the booking. I felt really listened to and cared for in the best way possible.
Jamie is the newest member of the Sales Team and brings fresh energy, attention to detail, and a genuine heart for the Church. He primarily supports our smaller groups and short-lead enquiries, the events that may be just a few weeks away but still need the same level of care and support.
From the first conversation, Jamie takes time to listen: What is your group hoping for? What do you sense God is doing? What kind of space will help your people rest, reconnect and encounter Him? He then makes sure every detail is captured so that nothing is missed, even when time is short.
Jamie’s enthusiasm, professionalism and growing expertise are already clear to the many groups he has helped. No enquiry is ever “too small”, every event is an opportunity to serve God’s people.
