At High Leigh, we are committed to welcoming guests in a way that cares for both people and the world around us.
Did you know that High Leigh has 11 EV car charging stations available on site? This makes it easier for those travelling by electric vehicle to visit us for conferences, retreats, and church weekends away. It is one of the ways we continue to support more environmentally conscious travel to and from the venue.
Sustainability has also been part of our ongoing work across the site. Over the last few years, High Leigh has moved fully to LED lighting, helping to reduce our carbon footprint by 4.6 tonnes CO2e per year, which is roughly the weight of two rhinos!
Alongside this, we have removed single-use plastics across our venues, while continuing to look for practical ways to reduce waste, use resources carefully and care for the surroundings we have been entrusted with.
Set in 40 acres of lawns, parkland and woodland, High Leigh continues to provide a peaceful and welcoming place for the Church to gather, rest and grow, with environmental care forming part of the way we serve our guests.
