More than 150 senior Christian leaders from churches, charities, and ministries across the UK gathered at High Leigh this month for a landmark national leadership event and the dedication of our brand-new 320-seat auditorium.

The event, Transforming Tomorrow: Christian Leadership for Today, provided a day of worship, fellowship, teaching, and discussion on some of the key challenges facing the Church today.
At the heart of the day was the official opening and dedication of Kinton Hall, a new state-of-the-art auditorium that increases High Leigh's meeting capacity by nearly 50%, enabling many more Christians to gather for conferences, training events, worship, and fellowship. The hall will be available for groups to use from mid-July.

Andy Lucas, our chair of trustees, and Mike Kinton officially open the hall.
The £3 million development was made possible through a generous donation from one of our longstanding supporters, and includes additional meeting and breakout facilities, and a new al fresco dining terrace.
The opening ceremony was led by Bishop Mike Royal, General Secretary of Churches Together in England, who dedicated the new facility to God in prayer and gave thanks for what it will mean for future generations of believers.

The new auditorium has been named Kinton Hall, in recognition of more than 50 years of faithful service and vision from Mike Kinton, a former director and trustee, who officially opened the new facility.

The leadership event featured keynote addresses from Rev Les Isaac OBE, founder of Street Pastors, and Professor Glynn Harrison, who challenged leaders to consider the pastoral impact of the digital age and the growing pressures facing younger generations.

Worship was led by Lou Fellingham and her band, while a panel discussion brought together Christian leaders from across the UK to explore the changing face of the Church and how Christians can remain both relevant and distinctive in today's culture.

Bishop Mike Royal said:
"It was a privilege to dedicate Kinton Hall and pray for all that God will do through it in the years ahead. As the Church seeks to encourage, equip and unite believers, places like this play an important role."
"High Leigh has long been a place where Christian leaders and ministries can gather, fellowship and grow together. Churches Together in England has benefited greatly from its excellent facilities and hospitality, and I look forward to returning to Kinton Hall and seeing how it strengthens the Church's work and witness across the nation."
