An exciting project has now been completed that provides an additional 13 new double en-suite bedrooms at The Hayes to increase the total number of en-suite rooms to 247, providing over 300 en-suite bed spaces. These new rooms have followed a similar design which has succesfully been trialled at High Leigh, and all have an exceptionally high standard of décor and furnishings. Two of the rooms can be 'linked' making them ideal and spacious for use by a family.
The project involved recreating and refurbishing the part of the Main House that previously occupied bedrooms 66 to 84. Peter Anderson, Centre Manager at The Hayes, explains that "this area of the site has always been called the 'New Wing', and now there will truly be something new and special about it. In addition to the new bedrooms, it has also provided a new entrance and lobby area for these rooms, giving easy access to the Derbyshire Suite, Dining Rooms and the rest of the site".
