Building a stronger team

July 2015

Building a stronger team

From producing innovative and ground breaking ideas to making a friendlier and more welcoming place to work, good teamwork and collaboration can make a huge difference to your organisation and personnel.

If your team need a little bit of encouragement to work well together, then the best way to promote collaboration and cooperation is through team building. Outdoor activities that test problem solving, physical endurance and communication are great for promoting teamwork, giving them the tools they need to help your business succeed - and have a bit of fun at the same time!

Communication

One of the most important skills your team will develop through team building tasks is the ability to communicate.

By taking advantage of the various outdoor facilities at our venues, you can create complex challenges for your team to tackle. If properly devised, your group will only be able to complete these tasks by working together. They can take these lessons learnt back to the workplace where their time team building can translate into a more cooperative and productive atmosphere in the office.

Physical activity

After a day spent outside in the beautiful grounds of your chosen CCT venue, your group are going to feel energised and satisfied. Exercise is a great way to get the creative juices flowing, with the endorphins it releases being great for boosting our mood and giving us a more positive outlook on the challenges ahead.

By setting your group physical challenges, you can help them to feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day, helping your team to bond and giving both the mind and body a workout.

Problem solving

In any organisation, good problem solving skills are an asset. By creating a series of brain teasing challenges for your team, you can help them to get their grey matter in gear and encourage them to think outside the box.

The indoor and outdoor spaces at CCT venues are perfect for problem solving challenges, with a choice of equipment on offer for you and your team to use.

Relaxation

Having a few days out of the workplace in the beautiful surroundings of a CCT venue is a great way for everyone to relax, unwind and get to know each other.

Outdoor activities are fantastic for revitalising, re-energising and building relationships, with the fresh air and greenery of the countryside the perfect backdrop for a few days of relaxation.

An essential part of any successful organisation, a strong team that can conquer communication can do wonders for your organisation’s productivity.

If you want to boost collaboration and cooperation in your workplace, get in touch with CCT today and book a team building event of your own.
