Since 1910 Christian Conference Trust has been helping Christian groups to promote the faith by enabling people to gather together for conferences, retreats and meetings. Our mission is to provide a safe space in which to meet, learn, worship, share and pray.
Our ancestors pioneered Christian conferencing as far back as 1910 and today Christian Conference Trust remains in a truly unique position. We aim to provide quality venues with the highest standards available in Christian conferencing.
This proposition provides an affordable best-in-class facility for churches and Christian organisations to bring their people together, away from the daily routine, to worship, fellowship together and draw close to God.
Since we first opened our door to the Church, millions have benefitted from the warm welcome and excellent facilities that we offer.
Every year, over 650 groups visit us from small church families to large Christian organisations. Our centres are more than just a meeting place. They become home to the 100,000 guests we welcome each year.
Since 1910, our venues have benefitted over 8 million Christians and being non-denominational means that our venues reach all of Christendom from international missionaries to local church plants and theological colleges to Christian charities.
Because we are non-denominational, we welcome the whole Church. We love the diversity of the faith and its many vibrant expressions of Christianity.
Our venues are alive with family groups at weekends as churches of all sizes come together for their annual retreats. During the week we welcome Christian charities and organisations for training, networking and worshipping together.
Whilst so many believers enjoy time away together at our venues, we are very aware that many more are unable to benefit in the same way as we simply do not have the space for everyone who needs it. Every year we turn away over 50,000 Christians as our centres are already full. We also want to be able to provide a facility for those on a restricted budget.
We rely on the generosity of our funders to help us build bigger meeting spaces, refurbish our grand country houses and expand into new locations so that even more Christians can benefit. We are stewards of what God has blessed us with and we understand the importance of being here for future generations of believers.
We’re a financially secure organisation which reinvests 100% of any surpluses into improving our venues. Our annual turnover of £8m and secure asset base of £15m are managed professionally by experienced senior executives with over 125 years of commercial experience in finance, hospitality, and the travel industry across both the private and charitable sectors.
We want to see charities run brilliantly and have a vision to take the organisation forward, furthering our ministry to serve more of the Church.
