Wednesday 14th - Thursday 15th September 2022

We're celebrating a century of serving Christians in their ministry at High Leigh Conference Centre by holding an invitation-only, very special event in September.

This two-day event will be a multi-denominational celebration featuring worship led by Tim Hughes, an exclusive keynote interview with Anthony Ray Hinton, gospel music from Britain’s Got Talent finalists, Emmanu’-EL Apostolic Gospel Academy, networking with peers from the UK's largest churches and Christian organisations, a gala dinner and time to relax and enjoy our stunning 19th-century venue.

Anthony Ray Hinton

Our keynote speaker will be Anthony Ray Hinton, an American activist, writer, and author who was wrongly convicted of two murders in Birmingham, Alabama. In a dreadful miscarriage of justice, Anthony was sentenced to death and held on the state’s death row for 28 years before being exonerated and released in 2015. You’ll hear first-hand his heart-rending story of forgiveness and struggle against injustice and how his faith in the Lord carried him through.

This is the first time that Anthony has spoken to a UK audience. His session will include a testimony, interview and audience Q&A. Anthony will be with us throughout the event.

Tim Hughes

Tim is the author of many well know Christian songs including “Here I Am To Worship”, “Beautiful One”, “Happy Day” and “At Your Name”.

Tim and his band will be leading praise and worship throughout our event.

Emmanu’-EL Apostolic Gospel Academy

Friends of High Leigh, Emmanu’-EL Apostolic, have featured on BBC Songs of Praise, Gareth Malone's The Choir and ITV's Britain Got Talent.

We're delighted that they will be performing at our special celebration event.

Network and fellowship

This two-day celebration will be a unique opportunity to network and fellowship with key figures from all denominations, representing the largest Christian organisations in the UK.

This event is by invitation only to senior leaders and founders.

What's included?

You'll enjoy a drinks' reception, welcome lunch, gala dinner, overnight accommodation, full English breakfast and lunch before you leave.

There will be plenty of time to fellowship and catch up with other Christian leaders and friends too. There is no cost to you in attending this – we simply want to bless everyone who attends with a memorable event.
